Carpentry goes back with written record on both sides of my family for at least 150 on my mothers side, nearly 300 or so on my fathers. We had a shipbuilding empire during the golden age of sail, timber framers, master cabinetmakers, you name it. The timber and tools runs in my blood. I followed that career path unknowingly off and on over the years. Was in infantry reserves, done security, odd jobs for a period etc. was going to go policing/corrections before I was accepted to a local correctional facility said "this is insane, not dealing with that" strapped my nail bag on and carried on being paid low wages with old school screamer bosses, then as pretty well a lead carpenter with truck bonus, tool allowance and cell phone allowance, the numbers weren't adding up since us "lead carpenters" have to supply our own truck & gear. Thankfully i've always invested in gear and had a significant amount, but with vehicle costs living an hour or more outside of the city running a truck was costing me too much, so I started my own 1 man business and on year two. Ups and downs but going well enough, especially right now thank the good lord.

My nickname growing up was Bear. I loved bear hunting and especially tracking wounded bears. Have had some very close calls and always told my wife "do not ever blame the bear if one gets me". Bear Tracker just fit for a handle.
