Saw some equipment I didn’t know that the army had.. those dune buggy things were pretty cool!! And the robot dogs were pretty neat too! The live band played some pretty cool stuff too,, especially “ enter sandman “
At first I thought they were going to cover ALL of Americas engagements.
I didn’t see the war of 1812, Mexican war, war with Spain, Bosnia, etc
It was still pretty good though… and too think that was a minuscule of a fraction of what the us army has, then you have to contend with the marines, the navy and the Air Force.

Glad to see the 1ST CAV well represented. Was with them in Desert Storm.

I would have had the helicopters loaded with Tootsie Rolls, and start shoveling them out the door onto the folks watching from the street. Here in Pa, you don’t dare line up in a parade without 50 pounds of candy. Lions Club in a parade tomorrow, I got 70 pounds ready to throw.

Other than no candy, I thought it was a really good parade.
