Thanks and this brings another question lol. I wonder if a lot of these batteries are made in the same place like MTD does with tillers and lawn mowers, all made the same but get different colors at the paint line. IDK, there are cheaper ones then the LiTime and say they offer a 5yr warranty and online customer support. One on amazon is exactly like the LiTime for 120 bucks, worth the gamble???

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I am gonna go with the 12v 100ah group 31 battery. 24lbs is gonna be a treat!

I have a 100AH Group 24... Supposed to do the same as a big battery but smaller and weighs in a tad under 20. I think I paid a tad over 200 for it a little over a year ago.... Sure beats the old 50 some pound lead acid...

Digger, what brand did ya get? And yes!! I can't tote those heavy batteries no more.

@catch22, take a look at these youtube videos. Will Prowse is the owner of diysolarforum.com and he is a huge source of information. He orders lots of batteries off amazon to tear them apart and critique the internals (after doing capacity and load testing).

For any cheap battery you're looking at, search on youtube to see if he did a teardown on it.

Not quite to that extent. The cells will come from a short list of manufacturers, but there's several grades of cells. Some will use the same BMSes, sone will have better or worse BMSs. Internal build quality varies quite a bit too. Watch some of the teardown videos and you'll understand a lot more about what you're getting.

Power Queen BMS.... Made by Shenzhen Lizu Time Technology Co. Ltd.
Pretty sure that's China.. I can see where LiTime might be made at the same place....

Thanks Digger. Thanks a ton, again Kansas, that guy on youtube is great! Anyone looking for a LiFeP04 battery should check him out! I do understand a lot better now. I think for me anyhow it comes down to warranty and customer service. Like the Dumfume battery checked out great on the tear down but when ya look at the amazon comments, ya can't get a hold of the manufacturer. Kinda like buying a pig in a poke.

I do like that Watt Cycle and it seems to have the same warranty and customer service as LiTime and it's 90 bucks cheaper.
