Saga continues........now have ample ridge vent......have ample soffit vent.......but soffits are mostly blocked off around entire perimeter of the house, so roof vents cannot draw. They are coming back to install a whole lot more baffles than are what is up there now.

Time to install the baffles is when house is going up. Framing done......roof is on....sheet rock not yet up. There is a formula to calculate ventilation area needed and it ought to be followed......else all manner of bad things happen.
