This skunk was furred better than some of my in season ones and the tail was great (as the photos show) with no more than the usual fur combing out.
Guess I'll just keep chucking the summer ones once I drain the pods but was just wondering because this specimen looked so good.
$80 skunks make you look at things a little different and ask a few questions. I'm sure I'm not the only one that was wondering

I noticed this when combing them out. Even late fall/early spring skunks there’s long tail hair coming out.
