Lays low where I'm at along the river and with it being an exceptionally wet year so far, its been a bumper crop of them.

Dang things are even in the house !

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

We've always had four or five bats circling over our property on warm evenings. I can't remember the last time I was harassed by a skeeter. We live in a wet area too, have a pond and a creek.

The gnats are sometimes a PITA as are the deer flies but they are not too bad.

I figure it's the many insect-eating birds flying around during the day and the bats at night that keep the bug populations down.

Eh...wot?

With a trout stream and a pond through the property, they tend to get thick at times here. I mix a batch of Wisdom TC and nuke em. Once or twice a year is all it takes...much more enjoyable to be outside.

When I sit out at night, I set up a 20” box fan, put it on low speed. The moving air keeps mosquitoes away.
