Nice job, Trappingthomas! She looks happy.

Thanks, guys! Zim is sharing this with me, but he has wanted one for a long time and I'm really glad it worked out the way it did. He has a big smile on his face today!

they call Daikon radish Tillage radish as well , it sends down those big roots which bring up nutrients from deep then they die and rot and leave voids and the deep nutrients closer to the surface.

I had a market gardener telling me his field of tillage radish with south sun was the Very first thing the deer were out eating come spring

Thanks, guys! Not sure which direction the honey do list will go!

Good news, Eric. There seems to be a lot of that sentiment around.

Pete, I have a feeling a lot of folks around here will be planting some combo like that. I am still laughing about the guys near here all trying to figure out what stunk so bad. A friend a mile down the road was driving by and his truck filled with the smell, and he was sure he had a dead mouse in the engine compartment of his truck that was stinking as it warmed up. Then he became confused as it faded away another mile up the road. Another guy who suspected it was a crop thing was out sneaking around taking photos with his phone app to try to identify the stuff! Zim pinned it with a little research. The numbers of deer made up for the smell in the end! laugh

I'm confused to what has 211 hours on it......the tractor or the seated person.
Good going in the auction.
Someone's retirement toy finely comes to the retired guy's wish list fulfilment.
Hope you two can get to the Surveyors Convention in Whitehouse in May 2026

Zim did a great job on the auction, Northof50! He has been watching for on for some time and it seemed like everything came together for this one. On the convention subject, you are talking about a retired surveyor!! Now he is too busy to get to the conventions!

Thanks, Scott, Dahlgren and Flipper!

We went and paid for it this morning. Cannot wait to play! (I mean work! )

Vinke, wax wont even keep them from turning pink....worse paint in the industry. Solid machines otherwise and I hope they get great use and enjoyment out of it. I wouldnt be without a tractor and foodplotting....gives me almost as much enjoyment as hunting.

Vinke, sounds like something Zim might do. I like orange - and I don't care for pink!

Thanks, Midlander. I think we'll get a lot of use out of it. So, have you ever waxed a Kubota to preserve its color and do you own a pink Kubota? This is fascinating. laugh

Father in law owns orange and neighbor owns several of them. They have been happy with them other than the paint, all of which are no longer the same shade of orange. You can see what im talking about with the picture of Vinkes skid steer. Neighbor waxed and kept his MX5100 in barn religiously and it definitely looked better than the others. For the life of me, I cant believe Kubota doesnt know about their 'quickly fading' paint problem and change their product/methods.
I have a feeling from your post that this tractor is gonna be like Zim's new baby...likely waxed and stored inside. Happy tractoring!

Phil, if you're talking about my hair... now that I'm nearly retired and don't have to look professional for my clients, I often just let it turn into cave hair. Zim loves it.

Zim also loves not telling me when we're out in the woods and I get branches or leaves stuck in it. He thinks it's fun to see me walk through the grocery store like that. laugh

good info for the ladies out there probably not many watching but Very few men marry a woman for their hair , make-up , hair product or cloths and darn they are shallow if they are.

there might not be a more beautiful woman in the world than than your woman bare foot , pregnant , a mess of hair , no make-up in a t-shirt and shorts or sun dress. you know they also look good with a toddler on the other hip.
I have how ever reached an age where I will admire the beauty of pregnant women from a far and be glad it isn't me waking at zero dark thirty in a couple months to change diapers .
My kids are the age that I was when they were born or a couple years from it.

after a smiling pregnant wife's glow, when your past that age , then it is happy no face paint or hair product , just enjoying life and living in the outdoors.

3 days un showered , living in a tent loving the life out-doors is a thing of absolute beauty

try convincing many woman of that but it's the truth.
