I've had a Kubota L 35 with a back hoe for almost thirty years now. It is a very versatile machine.

I originally bought it to put in stone driveways and install septic systems as part of my business.

I ended up using it more for personal stuff than business stuff. I have a long driveway, it's twelve-foot wide. I plow snow off it with the bota. After about ten feet the front bucket becomes a V-plow with the snow packed into it. Two passes to clears the driveway and a third to clean up any leftover snow. I've plowed up to 12-14" deep.

I mostly use it to haul firewood but also use it to dig stumps out, dig garden beds, hang deer from, turn our giant compost pile, I've dug our pond with it, I pull the grandkid's sleds around the yard in the snow with it and lots of other stuff I can't think of at the moment.

Here's a short video of me using it to haul firewood out of the swamp.

Eh...wot?

Too funny, Vinke. I'd like to think that if it fades from orange it should be a nice shade of peach, not PINK! laugh

Nice machine, Lugnut. I like the video! Lots of work getting done with that one. Nice.

I like your cave hair, Patrice .... flying in action on that neat new ride ! You will have the perimeter of the property traversed in no time grin Maybe take it on a drive down the road to enjoy some speed !

Definitely going to have fun with it, Sharon!

You guys are all too funny. Big hair, big tractor Nessy. If I had Lugnut's tractor it would have to be even bigger. Scary. laugh (Actually, the hair is getting longer and bigger as the health is getting better! smile )
