How many different lure makers did there is to be in Michigan?

Old ones from the early 1900s ?

I can only think of lennons and John ehn was there any others from that era?

Most specifically 1910-1920

This should answer questions about OLButcher. Have several of these in my personal stash purchased in 1980s. It was one of my main two go to lures for fox. Wish I still had fox and could still get this lure.

I believe that prior to becoming a famous Adirondack trapper, he was from Birch River, West Virginia, born and raised. smile Central part of the state, north of Charleston.

Yes, think I had previously read Butcher was originally from W. Virginia.

Don Garbow, founder and owner of Buck Stop lure company near Stanton, Mi. He wasn't around until some time later though (1950's?).

Was Lennon or ehn selling lures as early as 1920?
Did either one of them live near Kalamazoo?

Lenon started selling in the 20's I think.

He started in the middle of the LP then moved to the UP.

Don't think he was in Kzoo

Ehn started in the UP then went west I think
