Signed into law by the governor June 26th. We now await the Game Commission's rendering of what is off limits. As you will recall, it's supposed to be only a closure on public lands where the waterway has been designated impaired by the DEQ. What we don't know is how navigable streams that are public to the high water mark will be considered when they border private land. IE: The Willamette and its lower tributaries and tidewater streams.

I have been told that we will receive an urgent bulletin from ODFW on the closure prior to the season opening November 15th.
