Im pretty sure atheists are the opposite of obsessed by any god.

For not being obsessed some spend an enormous amount of time talking about someone they claim doesn't exist.

IDK but if you read stuff by guys like Richard Dawkins, you discover they have serious anger issues with the idea of religion. I think it's gotta be some kind of suppressed trauma coming out.

Of the three , not one advocates killing non believers!
As every religion in the world that I know of, none advocates death to nonbelievers !

I went to school with a guy who came from near Detroit in a city which the name escapes me. He claimed that there was more Jews there than what there is in Israel and this Jewish lady was at the deli and was pointing at sliced ham and said, "I'd like a pound of that corned beef." She was informed that it was ham. She hemmed and hawed and pointed at the ham again raised her voice and said again, I'd Like A Pound Of That Corned Beef!"
The guy gave up and wrapped up a pound of that delicious 'corned beef' for her.

I once had a conversation with an atheist, and said if I'm wrong in my faith, what have I lost. If you're wrong in your lack of faith, what will you lose?

Guess it is a problem with the definition of atheism.

There are poeple who do not believe in god themselves but do not oppose others to believe.
A logic and liberal (in the original sense) position for a non-believer as nobody can prove the non-existence of god(s) and vice versa.

And there are totalitarian people who do not believe in god and deprive others of their right to believe.
These war the anti-theists in literal sense.

Perhaps we should differ in nontheists and antitheists instead of using the misleading term atheist.
