I certainly don't like or understand it. But I don't need to....just leave me out it X2 Seth, I worry about the young men I see also. I doubt very many could last an hour on any physically demanding jobs.

I won't lie, we beat up "people" like that when I was a teenager. Wasn't so many around then....I wonder why? Now a lot of them carry guns because of attitudes like yours, and if you tried to assault them they might rightfully defend themselves against such an attack. That was the seventies in rural America where I grew up. Then AIDS hit and no one would dare bust a knuckle on their gender confused hide.

If you thump a queer what have you accomplished? Think that will cure them?

If you thump a queer what have you accomplished? Think that will cure them? We were high school kids. We weren't really "thinking" back then. We worked on farms, went to school, fought, got in trouble, drank, smoked and went to church. Said the pledge, brought guns to school, ran amok at times. Hormone charged teenagers that were Brought up by parents that let us fall down and skin out knees to learn lessons. We were spanked and also loved to death. The Good the bad and the ugly. We weren't pampered, we got taught boys were boys and girls were girls. We weren't trying to "cure " anything. We were just reacting, as teens do, to something all of us thought was wrong. Taught to us by parents, teachers and preachers alike.

I've always noticed loosegoose that you have a heart for the homosexual but unforgiving of the adulterer. Why such a difference in attitude towards the two?

J, not to put words in LG’s mouth. But, being gay isn’t a choice. Being a cheating adulterer is.
I have no time for cheaters and it goes the same for wife beaters and child abusers.

Choosing a partner is not a choice? Y'all youngsters sure have a strange way of looking at things. Choosing a partner is a choice, it is not a choice of what gender you’re attracted to though. I was attracted to women so chose to marry a woman. Not sure about you, but I didn’t go out and try between the two genders and decided after sampling. Lol

J Stanton, I don't think loosegoose is sticking up for the queers as much as he saying why the double standard.

I was at the county Fair last night. It used to be the carnies were off kilter. Now it's the patrons. Tats all over, piercings, gauges in the ears, big old gals with more skin hanging out than the sheep, pink and blue hair. Rural America!
I don't fit in any more.

IMO its a mental disorder. Just like most mental illness people are born with it. Unlike some disorders it doesn't make the sufferer want to assault people, unlike depression it does not end in suicide. I dont think it needs to be illegal again. I doubt a cure will be found.
I base my belief its a mental illness on the fact that sex at its most basic is for procreation. It serves no benefit to our species.
