The Michigan Trappers and Predator Callers Association (MTPCA) convention is a little more than two weeks away! Always a great time. This year should be fantastic. As of today, there are only 3 table spaces available. By the end of the week, all of our buildings should be full. This year we have a great line up of vendors. As well as events and demos scheduled. Again we are holding our convention at the Osceola county fairgrounds in Evart Mi. (About in the center of the lower peninsula)

Plus plenty of demos Friday and Saturday. Friday evening at 5:00pm is the donation meal. Catered by Two guns BBQ. All proceeds go to the kids raffle program. Friday night live auction, always a good time.
Saturday is kids games. Skillet toss(for all ages), kids hay scramble, adult hay scramble, trap setting contest(for all ages), and the ever popular possum toss(for all ages).

Admission is $10 for adults good for the entire weekend. Kids 16 and under are free
Camping is $25 for the weekend with hookups. Restrooms and showers on fairgrounds
Restaurants within walking distance.

It looks Ike this is going to be another outstanding year, i am really looking forward to it. Thank you to all of you for all of the effort you put in to making this happen.

Will there be a pot luck dinner on Friday?

Paul, there will be a dinner and folks are still welcome to bring food items. But, we are having the main meal catered in this year. Two guns barbecue. Pulled pork sandwiches, street corn salad and beans. Another member is bringing dessert, I will have a drink cooler of lemonade.

The dinner is still by donation.

Joe - I can't make it this year, gonna be in the UP.

I have a few boxes of magazines (Trapper Predator Caller, FFG, Trappers Post, etc) that would be great bonus items for the kids buckets if John is still doing them.

If someone could swing through Midland and grab them they're all yours. Or if they can get close I can possibly meet somewhere.

Maybe Dale has a trip to town planned
