I have a 27 ton from Menards. Spits horizontal or vertical. Yet to find something it wouldn’t split . Has a Honda clone for power source. Never had an easier starting or better running motor !
It’s split about 1300 cord without missing a beat.

It’s a lazy man who can’t find his wife a second job !

Used to use a maul more than my wood splitter. now my wood burner is so large I don't split much and if it need split it huge and I just cut it again .

My splitter cylinder needs re built it leaks. Probably cheaper to replace it so watching for ideas here. Never know when I may need to add a wood burner in a building that takes smaller wood. and I decided I need a splitter again. PROBABLY BE NICER than a maul now that im older and out of shape
