I pulled up to a few bobcat sets on a ranch. They were in a creek bottom. Walked down to see a lion in a MJ600. He took a good lunch and sprung free. He ran full speed down the trail and hit a snare fast enough to toss him around a tree. He was dead in 10 seconds.

Had a 220 set in a box cubby for coon. Walked up to it in the dark, from the side luckily, and saw a skunk tail in the light of the flashlight. Must have startled the skunk as I then heard the snap of the 220 and actually saw a cloud of spray, like a mist, shoot out from the cubby. I was probably 20 feet away and avoided the spray but waited until later that afternoon to retrieve the skunk.

Ahhh, another good one. I was setting a deep water beaver trap on a 42” stand and had a 18” trout swim right into the trap and get killed instantly. I thought about it for a few and decided it was going home with me.

I jumped a coyote out of a brushy coulee and it headed for the top of the coulee where I had a snare set in the fence crossing , it hit the end of a 8' snare with all 4 legs in the air and landed with a thud ! I dispatched it and added it to the one's in the pickup box .

You're friend along the snare line .
