Don't like bright silver traps for my water sets.
I dye or paint all of my traps. Even for dirt holes I think if rain washed dirt of part of the trap(like a corner of the pan, or a little bit of jaw) it would blend in better if dyed

Most traps after a year's use have lost that shine. And I believe most critters are color blind. But you got to do what works for you.

Yeah but they need cleaned before waxing and the easiest way to clean is boiling, so might as well add dye.


Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.
