Catch the lies they post on FB

Besides the obvious errors stated in that, along the way, I see numerous errors in the English language of stating points correctly. It reminds me of a third world mind trying to phrase thought in English .

I certainly wish they were a little closer to being endangered. We are starting to get them up here, and I don't want them.

when you have hundreds of birds ....
well measures were taken and there was one simple rule , don't go near the birds

a member of the possum club decided to test the rule and learned a lesson that I think should stick with him a long time.

I liek opossums, loved them as a young kid in the 80's 10 bucks a pop!

I noticed the numbers of opossums were much lower int he 90's in PA and equally low in IA in the 2000's. Used to be 1-1 or 2-1 opossums to coons in PA, in Iowa it's been nearly 6-1 coons to opossums. Never see them hit on the road like they used to be,heck they were everywhere, now you see far more coons.

I am currently 16 to 1 coons to possum this year which is not bad

it was much higher than that last year like 5 coon to 1 possum

I didn’t know the tick thing was a myth until a couple years ago and boy did I feel stupid!
I wish trappers could educate people as easily as the people who create these nonsense posts!

When Possum populations reach the point they are beyond the carrying capacity of a Region, they tend to migrate to the moon at night. I have seen them obliterate the light of the full Moon at times. There is a lot of unwritten documentation verifying their migrations.

when i worked in Georgia i had seen quite a few black opossums i remember putting them up in the late 70s and 80s and getting a couple bucks a piece back then they paid for a couple bottles of Carmans pros choice and canine call

You can’t win with these people,,danger of extinction?? Majority still think it’s true about possums eating the ticks crap.. even though it has been proven wrong
