But you stated they have no place in archery season.
I state the fact that they are archery equipment. So they belong in archery season.
They are by definition archery equipment. Therefore, they belong in archery season.
I can explain it to you, but I can’t understand it for you.

The part about the kid that bothers me is that he would allow his son to be disrespectful of his elders like that. He'll end up another punk running around saying "ok boomer" and making other disgusting comments like that. He has a right to not like crossbows, but that he would laugh at adults, and worse yet, that his father would encourage that kind of behavior is very unsettling, but sadly, not very surprising. We see the results of poor parenting like that every day these days, unfortunately.

You have a hard time figuring out how to read lugnut? I can read just fine. And I know how to use the quote feature, it's really quite simple. You haven't seemed to grasp it yet. Maybe all the hating you do has made your brain soft?
Eh...wot?

My last post on this thread.... 13 pages and no one has countered my original argument that a crossbow is not archery equipment for the reasons stated. Not gonna argue with people that stoop so low as to attack my son because he had a laugh about you crazy xbow people. Keep looking through your scope and pulling your trigger. Just like the guys that cry about "trophy hunters" because they never had a decent buck in front of em. Everyone can see right through you. Bye!!! lol. I just posted the definition that states crossbows are archery equipment. You just don’t want to accept it. You didn’t get the affirmation you were looking for, so you are leaving. It’s not an airport. No need to announce your departure.

Can appreciate that loose arrow. Thats why many states keep them as separate seasons but run concurrently. So it they need to change them the can easily do so. Most have found that there is no ill effect from those that use crossbows.
Which are archery equipment.
But I can understand your apprehension to them.
Similar to states that have season for only flintlock/Caplock muzzleloaders or only recurve or longbows.
I would rather a hunter use equipment that is safe and legal and be out hunting, as opposed to sitting at home wishing they could be out hunting.

Honestly they aren’t for me. I do use them for mentored hunts with new hunters and I have killed a doe with one. But I prefer my compound currently. Although, I do have my eye on a recurve that a local (bowyer) bow maker builds. They are nice and I’m considering it, as it seems super fun and an added challenge of instinctive shooting.
But, I’ll never ever tell another they can’t use what is legal and ethical.
It’s their choice. I’m no hater.
