Good ideas. I used rope blocks but upgraded to a ceiling hoist. Rope blocks were fine until I made an adjustable clamp system bolted to the floor for peeling wolves. A 10’ ceiling isn’t quite enough for bigger animals. There’s a 10’ cross arm laying across the trusses with 5/8 eye bolts coming through the ceiling. You’ll want that thing friggin solid. Anchoring to one truss/rafter will end up killing you one day…..lol
If you’re just doing coyotes and smaller & not in big numbers, rope blocks all the way.
