Hey my mom gave me a skillet that belonged to her dad, other than that I don’t know much about it? Any of you pros help a guy out? It’s a Wagner and these are the marks on the bottom.

Later wagner, good user pan. Fairly common.

Maybe one of the guys into wagner can give you better info. I'm more of a BSR and Lodge guy, but I know wagner went through several iterations/mergers before eventually getting swallowed up by Lodge corporate.

That pan was made in Sidney, Ohio about 45 minutes from me.

You can date it from the information on this site:

The stylized Wagner logo and it's location plus the four-digit pattern number and the lack of a heat ring means it was probably manufactured between 1935 and 1959.

As others have mentioned, not a whole lot of collector value but a good user pan.

I would guess the sentimental value of cooking with your grandfather's skillet would be pretty high.

Eh...wot?

Yes I’m keeping it just for that. Loved the tattoo on his arm he got in the Navy. Mom was not happy when my older brother turned 18 and I was able to get a tattoo, I was only 14. Used his id. Only kid in middle school with a tattoo.

Skillet where I'm from. A pan doesn't have a handle and the most common pan is a pie pan or cake pan.
