warrior , I hear you loud and clear, abuse of town/police property is a big NO with me. Years ago , we had a cop fatal T-bone a 16yo girl a couple towns away from here.

Buuuttttt........he was responding to a legit emergency call.
His big mistake , forgot to turn on the lights and siren. The courts slapped him down a bit. He is no longer a LEO. Family of the girl sued him.


But in all fairness , back to my first post is this happens a lot. Even with all the rules followed and boxes checked.

I'm a decent driver , but if I had to push a police car hard regularly , mistakes could be made. I'm not Ken Block or trooper Byrd from the Arkansas state police.
