my wife is a state rehaber and helps out young critters in trouble she understands that in order for humans and wildlife to coexist there has to be a annual harvest to reduce disease and keep critter populations in check and she doesnt mind the smell of skunk
She rides along if it's not too cold . She likes fishing since we get competitive, is indifferent to trapping doesn't hate it don't love it and hunting.....she like seeing the critters , like shooting , doesn't like killing .. foraging is more her favorite thing as soon as I say I'm going on a little ride or a walk she's right behind me with her collection bag
No, no, yes........ that might be the right mix as we own businesses together we get plenty of together time. Mine does not really handle the cold well either. She would probably go if I asked her, but she would be a spectator and not a participant. She does shoot her bow with me on occasion so that is cool. One of our first dates was to an archery range to shoot. Her shoulder gives her pain now so she doesnt shoot as much as she used to.
This all reminds me of this song!!!! I am proud of the T men who put their women on a pedestal and love their accomplishments! We love having the support of our guys
Trap loves to go with and is trying some land trapping this fall, Hunt she is great, deer, bear, turkey she slays them, Fishing she loves it and out fishes me all the time. I'm not much of a fishermen.
When we were kids she always went hunting and fishing with me. She (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) one deer with 20g at 110 yards in the heart and that's been it. She sat with one of the boys when needed when I couldn't be in two places at once when they were small enough I they needed an adult with them. I didn't trap tell my early 20s she has checkered traps with me but never got into it. She had decided she doesn't like the cold and would rather do other things thein get up early and freeze in the woods. Cat fishing is her favorite.
No to the trapping. She used to hunt deer with me, but after she had her hip replacement it was hard for her to climb up in her deer stand. But, she's still my favorite fishing partner. Leeches, minnows, grasshoppers, worms, etc, she always baits her own hook and takes off her hooked fish. I hate to admit it, but she has out fished me many times. Cleaning fish is something we always do together.
Being old is when you don't care where your spouse goes, just a long as you don't have to go too.
