I always have a scrap pile going. Now and then I take a load off when I think its getting to large. the boys get the proceeds so like to help load and unload it. Im just glad to have somewhere to get rid of it for free so works out for us. Last time I think they got $86. That was overloaded weight wises on in the bed of that 2wd 97 ranger.

Getting rid of junk is just inherently good.

Here the Red Suspenders maintain a metal dump as a fund raiser. No cost to dump, supports a good cause and saves landfill space. Some people abuse it, mostly nonlocals, so I don't know how long it will continue but they have done that for at least 15 years.
