There's a bunch of basic trucks, they just won't let them be sold in the states....

It would ruin the market for the expensive junk. There is a great bare bones Toyota that sells overseas but not here.

I have a 2010 Tacoma. I bought it in about 2020. It had 115k on it. Today it has 242k and going strong. Anyway, Tacoma engines are designed to go about 250k. At least that’s what I’ve read. When the time comes, I’ll fork out the money for a newer engine rather than buy new. The almost new radio works. The a/c works. The 4wd works. It isn’t rusting at all. I really can’t see buying a newer one for $25-$40k when what I have will probably outlast me.

Chevy w/t is pretty bare bones.
I like them because they don’t usually have carpet
