I went to Farm Science Review Today and helped out at the Ohio Nut Growers Association booth. Right across from ONGA, 3 booths down was the Ohio State Trappers Association. They were slammed talking to people, ONGA was busy too, but when the crowd thinned out, I got to slip over and meet Tom Paar. He talked about old Charlie Dobbins a bit. It was cool meeting him.

That is great to hear Keith. Tom Paar. Wealth of knowledge. Tom is a great guy.
Charlie Dobbins was a mentor of mine on trap modification.

I have met a lot of the legends, many gone now. We have some here on this forum. I am glad that I made time to make sure I could go to quite a few of the conventions when I was full force and out of my mind. When you meet these folks, sit down, shut up, and listen. Then when the time is right, ask good questions. Then listen with an open mind.
