foxkidd44 OP trapper Joined: Jun 2007 Illinois	Yesterday, my sister and brother in law attended a ceremony up by Chicago,, there’s a new memorial they have made that honors fallen soldiers from all branches of the military..I’m just now learning about it so I don’t know all the details, but I think it’s about soldiers who took their lives… My nephew conner, took his life almost one year ago , sept 29, 2024. We will never know why. He was a lance corporal in the United States marines,, and was the cheif crewman in one of the osprey divisions. We were going to run traps together when he was on leave, which was scheduled that year for early December. We had chatted alot.. and he was really excited about running the trapline with me… no indication that he was fighting demons. Law Dog trapper Joined: Dec 2010 Central, SD	Wife’s cousin just had a bridge named for him out by Deadwood last week I stayed home with the dogs. I missed a tag along antelope hunt in WY no biggie. He was killed in Vietnam I’m glad to see service men getting the recognition they deserve even if it takes a while. Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that! Jerry Herbst

Providence Farm trapper P Joined: Feb 2020 Indiana	Its hard but good to remember the losses. Should be good for the families and reminded everyone else of the cost of war and hopefully make them Pause and consider options before taking that path.
