Have any of you watched the 2 pre-quals? 1883 and 1923, and what did you think?

Both are very good and worth the watch, even if somebody already spoiled the ending for you and others.

Sam Elliott is going to be in next seasons Landman. I'll probably watch despite him being on it.

Both 1883 and 1923 are very much worth watching. They are the two best shows I watched last year.

I haven't seen Yellowstone, because I don't have any of the streaming services it's on, so I can't compare them.

I though both prequels were good, and yellowstone was good till they had that dust up with Costner, and the long delay on getting the show back on...I lost interest, the ending was rushed, poorly tied everything together I thought....Sheridan has too many irons in the fire and short shifted his claim to fame....

Liked Beth though....lol

Keith, Yellowstone is ten times as good as the other two

If I wasn't able to watch it, I'd buy the c.D set on amazon

yes , both very good

watch 1883 first then 1923

I don't watch the modern one hardly at all , I did a few times the 2 series stand on their own as just a good watch

I thought both were good... the ending of 1923 was crazy.

Last time someone asked me about it, I got accused of giving away the details so I won't say a word, but definitely to me worth watching both.

I really liked 1883.
Haven’t watched 1923
Watched about half of Yellowstone as it came out but lost interest due to family stuff that happened. Plan on watching it again

1883 was OK, 1923 kept my interest since my grandfather was a WW1 veteran like Spencer (although mining lead and zinc was much less glamorous than dangerous game hunting).
I was somewhat disappointed with the ending of 1923, but life can be disappointing.

1883 was the better of the both imo.
Tim McGraw actually did a pretty good job.
