I just took that as trying to keep politics out of sports. Maybe I am just giving them the benefit of the doubt.

A lot of the same people that wanted him honored are the same people that were against kneeling at the anthem. It's a double standard at that point.

I have opinions about both. I just think politics should be LEFT OUT of professional sports period. Play the game.

Except they honored George Floyd back when that was in the news. They even hosted his family at a game.
