Thank you for your contribution to this post. You are absolutely right. I work a lot more than I want to, but the moments when the kids make me proud of them, or proud of myself for doing things right, make it all worth while.

Thank you sir. It’s our part as fathers to provide for and protect our kids. Unfortunately we spend so much time trying to provide for them and ourselves that we lose so much precious time with them. What little time we can spend with them we do our best to instill good values and common sense into them. It is truly rewarding to watch it grow in them. My son is 11 now and smart as a whip. He understands that sometimes me and his mom struggle financially. One year I had enough saved up to get him a playstation 5 for Christmas. He walks to the side with me shortly after opening it so his sisters couldn’t see and says “ Dad can we afford this right now?” I told him not to worry about it that it was my job to do that and I gave him a big hug. It is a blessing to raise good hearted kids!
