Kansas always has one very enjoyable convention. Everyone pitches in and makes it a great weekend. Lynn cooks one heck of a cauldron of Ham and Beans for everyone.

Thank you to the Kansas Fur Harvester Association folks for a fine weekend!
We tailgated and had an excellent time. Great facilities. Great food. Good country people.
What really made our weekend was a 13 year old young man named Cason. He spent a lot of time at our tailgate spot on Friday. He was with his dad and grandpa. Cason was a quiet, respectful, and intelligent young man who was super interested in learning to trap beaver. He left a great impression on us. So much so that by the end of the day he left with lots of traps, equipment, lots of trapping advice, a lifetime membership to the Kansas Fur Harvesters, a membership to the National Trappers Association, and several new friends from Missouri. His dad and grandpa were awesome people as well. I have no doubt that they will be supportive of Cason’s quest to become a great trapper. His dad took my number and promised to send me pictures and updates on Cason’s progress trapping. Made our weekend!
