First , Sunday hunts….
And now, our local giant Eagle got beer and wine!

Went out to get some peel n eat shrimp and went home with a case of Iron City, practically jumped into the buggy..

Preposterous.
If any of you ride a motorcycle with no helmet I’ll slap you silly.

Same here. Have to wear eye protection while riding a motorcycle, unless you have a windshield that goes above your eyes.

Your entitled to oxygen. Everything else is earned.

What’s a giant eagle? Pretty much everywhere here you could buy at least beer.

Grocery chain around these parts. We have recently had beer and wine sales in some gas stations but this is the first time a grocery store offered them. Liquor is still governed by the state stores

Ok, here state run liquor stores ended in the 70’s, so things are making sense now.

Going cuckoo?
That horse left the barn shortly after Pennsylvania was first settled. smile
At least they are making some progress up there.
I wish that we had a straight-walled cartridge law in Virginia. We are ruled by dog hunters around here. They won't allow a muzzle loader season where I like to hunt. They are afraid that some of us will kill "Their" deer. Some of them harass bow hunters by turning some hounds loose when they see a truck parked anywhere near their leases.
I guess I can't really say much of what goes on on Virginia is much better that what goes on in Pennsylvania, now that I think about it.
Yay for you, I guess...

I know a few months ago our new state AG Dave Sunday (R) restored the concealed carry reciprocity with VA after it was cancelled back in 2018 by our then AG and now POS governor Josh Shapiro (D).

I dont drink my more never was really into it. But in the last few years we can buy alcohol on Sunday after noon I think it is. Before that no Sunday sales. Those that liked to party and lived along the IL border would often make beer runs across the state line if they ended up running through the Sunday supply on Saturday nights fire.

Same here, except under 18 you have to wear a helmet if on a motorcycle. Not sure if that is also a rule on a fourwheeler but never seen it enforced if so. (fourwheelers are legal on county roads and highways here, just not interstates)

A.B.A.T.E of WI made sure of it here

well they had nothing to do with the seatbelt law

but they made sure that it was your god given right to ride free and die with no bucket on your head if you wanted to. as log as you were an adult.

I feel the same way , I encourage all my fellow riders to wear a helmet. But I am against laws mandating it.

A couple country boys wore helmets
while riding to work in Pittsburgh,,,
in the pick-up.
Nasty rush hour traffic of the likes
they'd never seen.

In Wyoming, gas stations can't sell beer. Only liquor stores.
In Kansas, grocery store can sell beer but not wine.
In Fayetteville Ark no alcohol sales on Sunday but right next door in Springdale it's legal. Can't tell when you leave Fayetteville and enter Springdale.

in WI alcohol sales in stores start at 06:00 and go till 21:00 for off site consumption
Beer gets a pass till 23:59:59 for off site consumption

Taverns , Bars and such for on site consumption are 06:00 to 02:00 20 hours a day just not from 02:00 to 06:00

gas stations , convenience stores , grocery stores , hardware stores , bait shops , laundromats , concessions stands at ball games, even Dollar general sells alcohol in WI

my dad goes to a barber where the waitress from the bar next door comes through the shared hallway in the back and takes your order while you wait in line for a hair cut. beer or mixed drinks.

other places give you a number and call the bar next door when your number is about to be up so you can come get your hair cut.

they only run that deal on Tuesday night.

Notice how the states took over all the "criminal activities" like gambling and liquor sales! Pretty soon they will be selling maryjane and crack!
