I think Hegseth was trying to act like Jack Nicklson character in a few good men. Blowing off about standing on the wall seeing the enemies. Him and Mr bone spurs lecturing the troops like their grade schooler. What joke.
Not saying aren't plenty need boot in butt. Pretty much got that in every job has more than two people employed.

There weren't many fat soldiers when I served. The few that entered boot had it PT'd off them or were drummed out.

Fat soldiers are the result of the relaxing of standards by liberal politicians and woke policies.

I'm glad to see Hegseth understands that and is willing to make the change back to the old standards.
