It seems like your brother's ex-wife has no business going to that house at all. It likely will belong to her mutual children, but that's not likely known yet. It would irritate me too.

I don't have the full story here but if I die before my x wife and she shows up for any reason I hope no one "holds their tongue", if she doesn't leave in distress everyone else will have disappointed me one final time.

I'd meet her at the airport , and send her packing .....for your brother

If you're close to your brother's children, I would try not to add any stress to them right now by getting in a fight with their mother, but it sure wouldn't sit well with me.

Frankly, I don't care, she'll screw over her own get the same as her mother has done her.

I'll offer to be the dissenting opinion. Don't hold your tongue. This is one of those times where you'll regret doing just that.

My only real beef is the poison between my 83yo father and his three grandchildren by that marriage. Especially after footing the bill for their education. But that's water under the bridge at this point.
