Law Dog trapper Joined: Dec 2010 Central, SD	I read they don’t do well below 50 degrees you could plan your attack for when the temperature drops. I’ll test that theory tomorrow when I mow the hornets gauntlet between my wood piles. I tossed a couple chunks of wood into that area the other morning when it was cool and nothing came out of there. Jeg trapper J Joined: Oct 2010 NE Ohio	Sevin dust has changed. Old sevin was Carbaryl and would wipe out a yellowjacket nest over night. The new formula sevin is Bifenthrin. It is not as toxic as Carbaryl( the reason for the change) and does work only not near as fast.

Stick the tube of the bottle in the hole and start spraying until you empty half of the can or more. Don't stop spraying. It will decimate the entire nest in minutes. Thought a train was coming down the tracks with the buzz from the dying yellow jackets inside my soffit. Friend did the same with the nest in his furnace vent.
