Millwright for the last 32 years. What sort of mill do you work in? I'm on a lumber mill myself. I'd be lost without my millwrights.

I have two jobs. For one, I put wet stuff on red stuff. I try to keep the world square for my other one.
I have no idea what that means
but thanks for sharing

June 1968 - joined USAF and worked in munitions maintenance November 1971 - crosstrained into explosive ordnance disposal January 1992 - went on terminal leave and retired from USAF in March January 1992 - began trapping beavers full time for three timber companies September 1997 - dad passed and I began making lure for Dobbins Products, which was owned by mom. January 1998 - purchased Dobbins Products from mom, and I modified my beaver work to 9 months a year so I could attend conventions the other 3 months. I also went from three timber companies to one. January 2022 - retired from my timber company contract. 1991 to current - contracted with the city for beaver management.
. Left a lot of dead beaver in your wake Id imagine
I know personally your lures are responsible for the death of a few predators lol I can vouch for Boss Mans lures. Good and consistent product.

I started real work in a Foundry here, worked there for a year and could not take the old timers jokes and their safety program was absurd,, left it and went to selling Truck extras at a big dealer parts place and a dump truck building company, was there about two years, and got fed up with no funding for working what I felt was more than I was getting !
Then went to a big outfit steel outfit building all kinds of products, got hired as a de-burr guy and part time over head crane operator, joined the steel workers union when I found out they had an apprentice program for four years in steel detailing and welding, so went to school for 4 years on night shift, passed that had to stay one year after passing, but stayed another 18 years there, learn so much more about welding as new welding equipment came in, was out in a position of learning all the new machines and then taking all of the welding test on them to pass on the products being built, they closed down in the mid 90's left and went to a small Laser shop building all kinds of lasers for all kinds of work, another 18 years part time, had an established trapping line for most fur here, and started tanning my own fur and making hats and things for others and to sell, while still doing Laser work, fancy work them lasers, really amazing stuff, finally they quit and I ended up at the copper mine here for another five years in their truck shop working on the big trucks and yellow iron that they called the dozers and bladed machine's finally retired last July 4, been free of force labor for over a year now !!
Still do fur work , in all that time I created the Squeakers some of you have used and I now have new model out, great hobby plus my fur work, have slowed down some but still take some fur in the winter. but squeakers is now the hardest work I do LOL
Learned about every way to weld there was with about every type of machine one could use, with all other types of ways as well, still do a lot of that for friends and family, was a great experience and I was paid very well, that apprentice surely paid of well for me, wasn't easy at times, broke up my first marriage, but you move on and I started that part of my life over with another greater woman. We are still together and will celebrate our 42 anniversary in December, wow how time flies !!
Yea I know I ramble to much !!
