jetskis are bad enough now one has to put up with these things ripping up and down the river while your trying to fish?
These things are going to be a menace.
Just another toy for the selfish hooray for me , screw everybody else and everything else crowd.

I looked at putting the driveline from a jetski into a 10' aluminum boat for river fishing.
The river I fished has some shallow areas, rocks and logs that can be hazardous with a outboard.
Just like these guys figured out you have to be running fast, get up on plane and then the shallow ares aren't as big a issue.
Biggest issue is the shallow areas are all small gravel, sand and rocks.
Jets will suck up the sand and fine gravel and wreck themselves.
Plus running fast is hazardous when there are large boulders and logs just under the surface.

I decided to stick with an outboard. Run slow and careful up river thru the boulders and logs so that even if you bump one it isn't a big deal.
The boat was small and light enough that I could get out and drag the boat over/thru pretty much any obstacle, even log jams.

Not gay enough.
