9 years ago I purchased a 2008 Chev Colorado 4wd pickup for a little over 8 thousand dollars, today my wife did a check on its value and she found it to be worth a little over 12 thousand.

I'm not surprised. I bought a 20' Aluminum boat with a 115 4 stroke in in 2007 that is worth today not quite twice what I paid for it then. Replacing it would cost me twice that amount. lol

16 years ago I got a 10 year old S-10 for $2000. I have most all the receipts and it is now a $20,000/16year vehicle to me a 1999. It is worth that to me still. Runs good but like me it is getting old. I have sprayed it with oil for years until I found out about Fluidfilm (on here-you guys taught me that) No rust on the frame and I still get 27 on level terrain. the Pa hills bring that down to24mph. My every day driver.....jk

I’m unloading a lot of stuff to prevent kids and grandkids from having to deal with process. Ask kids first and then ask grandkids. If no one wants it it is sold. Shocking what I got for some stuff. Sometime kids don’t want but grandkids. Do. Caused some issues but at my age who cares. Traps were hard for me to unload. Because they provided Christmas money and a lot of outdoor enjoyment. Lot of stuff sold lots I expected to sell did not. Have wife put on Facebook and let her handle. I don’t deal with those things except Trapperman. Enjoyed site over years. 2 daughters have fought over a few things. Today best of friend. When they were squirts I was afraid at times they were going to kill each other.

My neighbor bought a 4230 jd tractor, new, farmed with 20 years, and sold it for the same money

Since covid, everyone is gouging everyone for no valid reason. Its reached every product made and has become the norm.

The market is the market, I wouldn’t call it gouging.

I’ve worked as a car buyer for the last 25 years. Buy cars at auction and send to dealer. It’s crazy to see cars I would buy 10 years ago for 2500 is still doing 2500-3000 today. Same car 10 years older. Have never seen anything like it.

I got an 94 toy I wouldn't sell for then 11K. It has a completely new front end runs great no rust the inside dash has no sign of wear and in excellent shape. The drivers seat has a tear but I have factory same color seat covers on the 60/40 seats. Has cruz and ac.
The thing is way better then any side x side and will go anywhere.
