Anybody buy one of these and what do you think of it? They've been pimping them pretty hard on the internet.

Japanese chef knives are the best for food prep hands down. That brand does not even tell you what steel made out of so stay clear. Go to chefsknivestogo. I like VG10 steel with hardness range 58 to 61 RC.

Buy the Coolina brand, far and way better than the junk Matsumano or whatever it is called.

for Kitchen , food prep and butchering knives I like Dexter

no fancy marketing , they are American and are basically the original US production knife brand.

I like a 10 inch Chefs knife it is my most frequent food prep knife
https://www.webstaurantstore.com/dexter-russell-12433-sani-safe-10-chef-knife/21012433.html

you will find them in most commercial kitchens they hold up decent for blade retention and take an edge well

I have 20 years of cooking in on one and it is showing no signs that I will need to do anything but clean , sharpen and use it for the next 20 years.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
