Having home made green bean stew that I made a few days ago. We have a few more days left to enjoy. Venison, pork, home grown green beans, shitake' mushrooms off my logs and some cooked in rice to thicken it a bit. Chicken broth for the liquid base.

We had beef French dip sammies, and fried taters and pickled beets. Now I have a cookie brownie in the oven, never made one before but we will see how it goes also have some vanilla ice cream ready when it comes out hot

Nessy oatmeal raisins are my favorite. No one else in the house hold likes them

Baptist potluck. Had our quarterly association meeting and potluck today. Great food. Too many to list really. And great fellowship. I always look forward to our associational meetings. I fill in preaching within our association and have preached at 7 of the 10 churches and have gotten to be good friends with a lot of good folks. And never been to a bad potluck at any of them.
