I'm would like to get one of those small battery jumper starter/charger that are about the size of a cell phone. Will they work for 4 wheeler, and boat batteries to jump start also.
What kind is a good one to buy and pros and cons? Thanks

The hoots here use electric fencer solar panels that plug into the cigarette lighters not sure how great they work. You would think it would require a “hot” source at all times at least. Never tried it myself might be an issue with newer electrical systems now should work on an older model maybe.

I have a NOCO and have been very pleased with it. I have jumped full size trucks, cars, my 35 HP diesel tractor, small excavator, etc. doubles as a power pack for usb devices during power outages too. I’m going on 4 years with mine and have gave 4-5 out as Christmas gifts and everyone has been impressed. They make some decent chargers as well.
It’s about the size of 3-4 pack of cigarettes but still compact

NOCO is basically the go too for small https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GBX45-UltraSafe-Powerbank-6-5-Liter/dp/B0924V8SPC?ref_=ast_sto_dpI have two of the larger ones , a E5000 and a schumacker both are just sealed lead acid batteries that have cables and chargers built in to the case https://www.amazon.com/Booster-ES5000-1500-Peak-Starter/dp/B000JFHNQA/ref=ast_sto_dp_puis?ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.9fe8cbfa-bf43-43d1-a707-3f4e65a4b666&th=1 start and run a light truck with this in place of the battery to test them and it works fine Milwaukee now makes one that works off your tool batteries might be worth looking into if you have Milwaukee tools around.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

We use the NOCO brand in a few sizes. In my truck I carry a Noco 155 that is large enough to start sizeable diesel engines. Carry smaller sizes in the SXS, Expedition, and boats.
Shop on amazon or walmart on Black Friday for good deals.
No experience with other brands.
