We can’t trap until next Monday, but I was thinking about trapping coyotes until the raccoon primed up better..

I have not killed any yet. doubt i pelt many when season opens for fur bearers. around here the best month is december

Iowa coyotes are always pretty fugly.

Coyotes are pretty ugly here in SE Nebraska too, but best are in December.
I don’t set for anything until at least first of December. Even the coin are much better by then.

I was offered 2$ last year, they look okay right now. Yesterdays prize is sleeping in the sage!

Northern MN they are not the prettiest but fur looks good. A buddy has caught a couple nicely furred in the last week.

Here in my neck of the woods in N.Illinois we have a large array of fur colors and fur quality. The two I shot were nice well furred out....skinners.
My taxidermy friends like 'em.

They look good up here right now. I won't trap any until I'm done hunting deer though.
