These wire trigger swim through cages are the only stackable cages. Every once in a while I get a perfect spot for stacking with a run 18-24 wide that is right at 24 deep or a bit deeper. Cages can be set upside down on top of each other to make two catches. I run a couple of sticks or 48 inch T-bar stakes down through them to keep them in place. Just set one the other day. Water dropped a bit as expected so I ended up with 2 catches with the top beaver alive.

Thanks Bob. It's been fun coming up with new sets with new equipment. We had no idea that these traps would so versatile, but a pleasant surprise.

When you do this, do you try to put some lure up high somewhere above the traps on a stick or something? I'm sure the blind set would work very often, I just wondered if that lure thing would be likely to work if they weren't swimming through there on their own.
