Come on guys - lighten up. What hunter, fisher or trapper hasn't exaggerated a wee bit to make a good story. I'm guessing some of the paintings of hunts on cave walls from thousands of years ago were exaggerated. It's just part of the tradition. You all are like a bunch of old hens that single one out and just keep a pecking. You old biddies LOL.

Each day is a gift. LIVE IT with gratitude.

I was actually worried I was going to have to quarter the deer to get them out.

That car smelled pretty bad. My friend Gus would ride in it it with his head sticking out the passenger window.

Certainly not Peter Hathaway Capstick , Robert Ruark, or Hemingway.

Still enjoyed their books, though.

This thread has grown to several pages, over several hours, with several frequent posters and several segues, likely leading to several severe headaches and several severe fits of laughter.

You are wrong. It is only 5 pages. It has not been several hours. There are more than several posters. And I've lost count of segues. A couple hours ago I couldn't have corrected you, but tonight I learned that several and seven are the same.

Several months of therapy and a few refresher days in the second grade will get you straightened back out.

Shouldn't he attend the several grade instead?

He was voted most popular student in the "several" grade 9 years in a row. Does that mean he can collect Social Security now?

So on this thread BnB said he shot 400 deer, then 200 deer, then 100 deer? Each post dated later than the last?? Did he and Bruce have the same grade school teachers???

The more he kills, the lower his count goes. Sounds like Bruce's math, lol.

… in the previous it was 100 … then 207 or something… but that was just the ones with a bow …. I think he got the other 200 with a spear or something

I figure at this point he just tells them to get in the truck and they just do it and die for him. Only Pope and Young quality deer though, anything less than “several” years old and without “several” inches of antlers he lets walk.

I think the only way to make this thread more funny and more confusing is to have a hair lip Chinamen read it out loud.
