Neighbor killed this little guy behind the house. When I go out there tomorrow, hopefully there are still several more around.

Average for a quality deer. There are several deer that are bigger around, but I wouldn’t have let it walk.

Maybe less than several, but definitely more than some, all I know is there is one less now.

No, I believe one tine is hidden and it is an 8 pointer so obviously one tine over a several pointer.

Used a UTV to get him out of the woods. Sled was just to load him in the truck.

Sled is nice when you have to go over obstacles, through mud and thick stuff, wheeled cart is nice to get them out when the ground is more open and hard.

Well, good to get to the trail or field where the UTV is waiting.

Thanks, I asked becuse i have left the cart in the teuck a few time when its thick rockey ect. between that and the extra time to get to the truck and get it early season when its hot and an hr drive. Instead just packed out on my shoulders if not to big ( fell doing that with the last one and broke my phone in my pocket osn the rocks in the creek.) or draging them out. .

but Geting them out this year had gotten harder for me But the boys can do it all themselves now. they are big enough.

On the occasion I’m not hunting private with access to a UTV or the truck. And it isn’t a quick trip to get the cart or sled. I’ll pack the deer out if it is practical. But, I wouldn’t hesitate to take the sled with me and leave it at an access point or close by. So I don’t have to walk all the way back. Just drag the deer to where I left the sled and then put it in the sled. It’s a lot lighter than the cart and much quieter to get in if that makes sense.

I kinda remember Paul saying he had been given multiple chances, and got tired of his arrogance and attitude.

Oh yeah, he was on several levels of warnings and chances. Many several times he ignored it, and Paul has less than several amounts of patience with folks that ignore his several warnings.
