Favorites? Lots of after market out there, plus the standard factory screw ins?

all i have too say is that Carlsons "Dead Coyote" is probably one of the best aftermarket chokes out there i have owned mine for 15 years and it has always amazed me on how well it patterns up close and at distance with premium copper plated loads

I have gotten the best patterns with 00 buckshot using a improved cylinder choke. It's a short range load. Pellet deformation from tight chokes are your nemesis. The one shotgun that has 00 in it will do 90% at 40 yrds in a 30" circle. You don't want to be in front of that

The factory chokes are usually good, try them before searching for the holy grail of chokes...might save you some money.

For OO, I think improved cylinder is your go to, but heck, try what you got.

Skip the choke search until you've tried the federal flight control or the similar hornady versatite.

Basically the wad holds it together longer downrange kind of like the old ringed paper hulls did.
