One of the biggest trash pandas I've ever caught. Tipped the scale at 30#. Here'some pics. Mixed bag, holding him normal, and the trophy shot. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/11/full-13020-275447-20251117_133005.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/11/full-13020-275448-20251117_192142.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/11/full-13020-275449-20251117_192252.jpg)

Most of mine this year have been 20 to 25. This guy dwarfs them.
So much fat. Should make a good batch of patch grease for my muzzleloaders.

That's as well furred as I've seen for a 30 # class. They are often missing some tail and of lesser quality.

Most of mine this year have been 20 to 25. This guy dwarfs them. I've gotten a few like that. It is amazing how much bigger a 30lb one is over a 25lb one. Almost seems double the size. Took one out of an attic /rooftop of a house right next to a trash transfer station. Unlimited food supply 100 yards away. Urban raccoons can get very big. Fun trying to carry a live one in a cage trap with one hand while climbing down a ladder as it shifts it's weight around. Nice catch , k snow.

So much fat. Should make a good batch of patch grease for my muzzleloaders. Nice catch. How do you make your patch grease with it? I render the fat in a nesco cooker and ladle off the good stuff. Put it in small tins. Then I warm the tin, dip a patch in, one wet patch sandwiched between two dry patches and they are ready to shoot.

Memorable catch. What size stretcher you gonna put him on? Pretty sure my coon boards won't be long enough, might end up using an adjustable coyote stretcher. He's likely going to be tanned and I'll keep him, so not too worried about getting the exact stretcher shape.

Nice catch there Kyle, I had one two years ago that I had to put up on a coyote board also.

All fleshed, ready to board. When boarded, measures 39 inches from nose to shortest point on skirt. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/11/full-13020-275511-20251118_122942.jpg)
