That was out of the regular trapping regulations... Not sure where it says anything about it being nuisance regulations on that page.

Also that isn't a fence post it's a stake to hold support the trap smile But yes it is on my property grin
But yeah, it doesn't hurt to clarify that they aren't a target species in WI smile

The powers in charge have repeatedly refused to include the nuisance trapping information in the general trapping regulations. There's a whole document on the DNR website dedicated to that information, and they must think thats enough. No mention in the regs about acting as an agent of a landowner for nuisance trapping and the necessary paperwork that allows year-round trapping for certain species by an agent of the landowner to remove nuisance species. If you're the landowner or occupant, the animals don't need to be causing damage.

Any rabbits or squirrels caught with traps would count towards your daily bag limit and possession limit.

Thanks for the info. Tiguy. Those are some " grey areas " in our trapping regs. Looks like Coyote Cowboy is doing a great job of being well informed of the laws Wis. trappers should be aware of. We need more young people like him. Tight chains to both of you.

Got all my dryland sets pulled. That slushy rain, then freeze and thaw sure made things sloppy
