Twice in the last week we got a call wanting to buy our home and 52 acres. Anyone else getting these calls? The place since we bought it has/nt been on the market for years,\.

Maybe. I don't answer them. I get these in the mail though sometimes. I believe these are lowball operations.

Get at least 2 a week and once a month in the mail. This week I actually got a text about a property I don’t even own. I guess I should have seen what they were offering and sold that one. lol

These had the wrong last name as well.

Get an unending stream of them! Low ballers looking to score big, right into the kindling/recycling bucket.

I get them all the time. I feed them exactly what they want to hear and try to stretch out the call as long as possible. When we get to the point where they ask me for an email address to send the contract to, I tell them sure, but that I have a prerequisite. When they ask what it is, I say "I want to fart in your mouth".

To this day none of them have shown any additional interest in buying my house.

Get a couple flyers in the mail every month. Get a never ending stream of texts, a lot of them are for property I surveyed but never owned.
My name shows up on the survey so they think I'm the owner. lol

always have a price in your head on what you want if you where to sell add 200-300 hundred thousand and you never know somebody could make your day for example if you think your place is worth 500 000 on the market but your happy and no desire too sell than id say 800 000 or 900 000 thousand might make you really consider moving

Earlier this year, I was getting several dozen calls and texts a week from buyers wanting to buy both my parents' homes and my farm. I get mail asking to do the same. Most of the time the messages left say something like "I was just driving by 674 Cedarhill Drive and thought what a wonderful place to raise a family. I hope it's okay to contact you about purchasing your lovely home." It's bullcrap. It's mostly foreign buyers wanting to buy American homes in large enough numbers that they can rent them forever, because prices will be too high for most people to ever buy them.

I had to set my phone to only ring for people already in my phone.

I think foreign corporations should not be allowed to do this.

My youngest sold her 20 year old double wide on 2 acres for 300 k

She moved to myrtle Beach and is living with the inlaws, can't find a place they can afford

Hasn't happened yet but I suppose I would put the video on TikTok and hope to make enough money to offset the fleecing these type of people put on ignorant or desperate home sellers.

I get letters and texts wanting to buy property I no longer own. The letters go in the trash. I reply to the text msgs and congratulate them on their stupidity by buying and using outdated lists without even checking. Then I immediately Block and Report Spam and delete their msg.

I did play with one fella and told him I would sell for one million. He asked how I came up with that number and I told him it was none of his business, you asked, I gave you a price, pt up or shut up! Last I heard from him. This was for a 2 acre lot I no longer owned.

I had one contact me through a real estate agent, told agent it could be bought for $50K/ac and never heard another peep from them
