Headed to Vermont for the muzzleloader season tonight.December 6th thru the 14th.Had to stop off at the doctors yesterday as I had a bout of pneumonia going.two shots later and 3 medications feeling much better.Should be another tracking in the snow hunt.

Chased this one buck for 3 straight days.He knew I was on him always keeping the wind on its back.He ended up crossing a river with moving water.I would have to then get back to my truck and drive around to get back on his track.He would then end up going back across the river again.I had to leave the track at dark.8 miles total tracking that day.Second day same thing all over again.I tried cutting him off at the river but just missed him.The third day I beat him to the river.Over 20 total miles of tracking this buck before getting him.He was worn down by breeding as very lean but a nice long buck that dressed out at 202 pounds

Looks like great buck!! If we hunted WT like here he would have been 500 miles away after day 2. You did good!
