Is there any value to frozen green opossum pelt?

Seems like a video I watched GFW said they might buy them if they were put up and dried but not frozen.

June FHA auction results show a $0.45 average.

Even during the raccoon boom they were only a couple bucks. Can't imagine them being more than a dollar.

But he'll buy them, maybe.

I haven't done a count on my grinner catch but I think I'm in the 30s

Frozen, I doubt there will be much interest for any buyer.

I had 31 grinners and Guy bought 5 at a $1.00 each. I said I would give him the other 26 for $15.00 he said NO. And they were all put up.

I have alot of possums. just caught another 2. They are nice fur. Can they be a pillow or hat ??

Ive seen possum hats but not pillows. I like possum fur. I remember a guy we use to sell to told us they were using them to line the inside of women's gloves instead of rabbit

They are looking for grinners that don't have any black guard hair. And most of the grinners I caught have lots of black guard hair.

I thought they sheared them and just used the under fur. But I guess I was wrong.

I have 4 frozen possums if anyone wants them. the entire carcass is frozen.
otherwise, I'll use them as fertilizer.
